Trio Home Center began operation on August 1, 1972 with the purchase of Nicholson Brothers Lumber by three young business partners. In its 40th year of operation as Trio Home Center, two of the original three owners remain. The lumberyard itself has stood in the same location serving the city of Ellis for over 100 years!
